any name brand can have a bike that is possibly defected. It could have been a thin spot on the tubing, its an occurence, but not very often.

i also got a nother question i see that you weld would it be a good idea to weld the front part of my gt snow racer i cracked it on the side were the ski goes on at the top will it help alot if i reinforce all the crappy little welds with big weld
